We’re seeking an experienced Theatre Floor Coordinator to play a pivotal role in the daily coordination of operating theatre activities within a well-established private hospital in Regional NSW.
Reporting directly to the Theatre Nurse Unit Manager, you’ll act as the go-to leader on the floor ensuring theatre lists run efficiently, resources are well managed, and patient care is delivered to the highest standards. This hands-on leadership position is ideal for a senior perioperative nurse ready to take the next step in their career, with the support of a collaborative management team behind them.
You’ll work alongside dedicated scrub/scout, anaesthetic, and recovery nurses, surgeons, and anaesthetists in a busy but positive environment that values teamwork, communication, and patient outcomes.

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Minimum 3 years’ experience in theatre or perioperative nursing
Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support, motivate and guide theatre teams
Sound understanding of clinical governance, safety and quality standards
Previous experience coordinating theatre lists or acting in a leadership capacity desirable
Postgraduate qualification in perioperative nursing or management (advantageous)
